Ingredient List
- 500g whole-wheat flour
- 320ml warm water
- 1 sachet yeast
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 120g add-ins of your choice — cranberries, olives, nuts, or anything you like
Directions
- Dissolve the honey and yeast in the warm water and leave for a few minutes. Add the flour to a mixing bowl, make a well in the centre, and pour in the yeast mixture and salt. Mix well, then fold in your add-ins.
- Cover with plastic wrap and leave in a warm spot for 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C with a deep lidded pot inside to heat up.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, dust with flour, and shape into a round.
- Carefully remove the hot pot from the oven and drop the dough in.
- Bake with the lid on for 40 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for a further 15 minutes until golden brown.
