Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup salted butter, softened
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3 medium eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips, chunks, or roughly chopped chocolate
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C. A great recipe to make the night before — you'll thank yourself at morning coffee.
Combine all the ingredients except the chocolate. Mix well, then fold in the chocolate pieces (roughly broken into 2–3cm chunks works perfectly).
Roll into balls and place on a baking paper-lined tray. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
